On request for a themed exhibition entitled Arkadia-Südlichen Ort in the Galerie Joachim Blüher, Cologne, 1997, I applied the technoglyph motif to the surface of two small identical pedestal shapes, but with gently curved cupola tops. The resulting shapes recall the rolling hills of Tuscany, and mimic the negative spaces of two adjacent bays from a classical italian arcade with vaulted ceilings.
