As with Minimalist Vacation from 1992, Prince can also be seen as a work in two parts, in this case a stacked work. In fact, FROGLYPH III sits contemplatively on the shoulders and neck of TORSOGLYPH II. Although both frog and torso are completely tattooed with technoglyphs, the sum of the parts exceeds the individual impacts. Whereas the suggestion is being made that the frog might just someday - with special thanks to technology - turn into a prince, in the meantime the fact remains that the future prince might instead be looking for his head in the wrong place.
